Spårboken

SPÅRBOKEN - köp hos Bokus

This is, without doubt, V's favourite book, and has been, for a long time. While it is a book for an older audience, he loves looking at animal tracks in the snow or mud and finding animal poo in the forest and fields. He then looks it up when he is back, and sometimes we take the book along. At the age of four, he could already tell apart the poo of the following animals:

  • moose, deer, kronhjort (like an elk, i.e. a larger deer), house mouse, field mouse, lynx, cat, badger, ...

In other words, quite a few more than his parents, logopedics or preschool teachers :-)

iPad Apps

While we still stick to a strict "no iPad while driving" rule, V has been allowed to use the iPad during the (quite long) sond feeding sessions (about an hour each) or when he has a PVK put into his arm and sometimes during blood transfusion when he is a bit limited in his mobility.

Here's some great apps & games which V enjoys:

  • TinyBob series (Mammals, Robots, Weather, Human Body, Building, Machines, Crazy Animals, ...)
  • Montessori Numbers
  • Alfons Åberg
  • Leo's Fortune
  •
